Taman Ayun Temple is the Paibon/Pedarman Temple of the King of Mengwi to worship the ancestral spirits of the kings which was realized by the construction of a Paibon gedong, and also built a meru-meru for worship and prayers to the Gods for the people of the Mengwi kingdom in asking for prosperity.
One of the most beautiful temple is Batu Bolong Temple. Located on Batu Bolong Beach, close to Tanah Lot Temple, it is a perfect setting to enjoy the sunset view. From the outside, it is a beautiful spot to take pictures with the view of the sunset and the temple that stands firmly on the reef.
Batu Bolong Temple is located in Beraban Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. Visitors can see the uniqueness of a black coral with a hole in the middle, so it is called Batu Bolong. The term comes from the two words ‘batu’ and ‘bolong’ which means perforated.
